Collaboratively working with the leadership team and a reputable Creative Lead, Rich Colvill, to give the company a 'face-lift'. As a start-up you go through a lot of trial and error whilst you're finding your feet and identity. Now with almost 3 years under our belt, our new branding reflects the company we have evolved into - advanced, classy and distinguished.
As part of the HR strategy, I wanted to streamline all our people practice processes to ensure we were working at optiumum efficiency and compliant in doing so. Curated by our Employment Law solicitor, we integrated a tailored HR platform that aligned with how we operate.
As an ambitious start-up, we felt our innovation and work-practices deserved some recognition from the wider-community. We applied for a number of categories for the YBA Awards and were shortlisted for our current and future plans for Diversity and Inclusion within the business.
This would have to be a project that I’m currently working on, our company-wide rebrand. As a start-up you go through a lot of trial and error whilst you’re finding your feet. It’s safe to say we’ve had our fair share of identity crises. Now with almost 3 years under our belt we have learned, evolved and are ready to establish ourselves as an industry leader. Our new branding reflects the company we are, and aspire to be – advanced, classy and distinguished. We’ve invested a lot of time, deliberation and worked with a reputable brand designer to curate our new brand. We can’t wait to launch it!
I work closely with our accountant and solicitors to keep up to date with financial, employment and commercial business updates and legislations. As well as, connecting with industry leaders on LinkedIn, not restricted to any specific industry as it’s all relevant and transferrable!
Continuously learn and adapt. Recruitment is a congested and competitive industry, so you need to consistently develop your knowledge and skillset to ensure you are staying ahead of the curve and building trust and credibility with your clients & candidates.
The core responsibility of all operational roles is to implement, streamline, adapt and monitor operational processes to ensure the organisation is functioning efficiently. To do this you need to hardness technical expertise, critical thinking, effective communication, adaptability and strong leadership skills.
