I’ve been interested in cosmetic dentistry for a while, I had braces when I was younger and loved the experience. My Orthodontist was fully supportive of my dreams to become an actress and even though I was a mild case, he approved my case and I performed as Cinderella with straight pearly whites! Since then, the industry has evolved exponentially and it’s great to see the different options available for patients.
When I joined Kapia, I had full autonomy to enter a market I found interesting. Throughout my career and the trust from the team at Kapia, this has grown into a wider appreciation for the medical device industry. I represent some impressive candidates who have exceptional experience covering different verticals within the industry such as cardiology, urology, neurology and many more. There really are some great companies in the space and I’m inspired to support their recruitment needs.
Supporting ProSomnus with their European expansion has been a highlight. I worked closely with the VP of International Business to strategise a recruitment plan for expanding sales within Europe, identifying priority territories, budgets and future headcount. Successfully placing two Country Managers in the UK and Netherlands.

Receiving feedback from clients and candidates of how I’ve positively impacted their recruitment experience. For a client, a successful placement will generally make their job easier once the hire is fully up to speed and for a candidate, securing them a position can be life changing.

AI adoption is trending in many industries, in medical devices I really believe this is the future of enhancing patient outcomes.
Research, research, research. Understand the company mission, their products and their customers. What can you bring that will aid this mission, sell their products and help their customers.
Understanding the global market helps hugely when budgeting. A consultative approach means being transparent with costs. If a client is under budget for a certain geography, it’s as simple as communicating. Having these conversations early in the process is key to managing expectations and keeping in line with the client brief.

We truly have a personal approach to our business and appreciate every client and candidate as an individual. We offer a flexible way of working as no project is the same. The autonomy we have as employees is something I’ve never experienced in a working environment; I’m trusted to run my own desk and truly strive to do the best by both clients and candidates.
Honesty is always the best policy, it builds trust, respect, and credibility. Being transparent is something I mention in every interaction with clients and candidates. I placed a candidate 6 weeks after our first interaction, this doesn’t happen with every candidate I speak with. There are many factors to recruitment that are out of our control (we are working with humans after all!) but with the right partner, these things can be merely small hurdles and can be overcome with an honest approach.
FemTech is piquing my interest at the moment, women’s heath is majorly underfunded and there are some fantastic technologies in the space such as Amira (currently in funding rounds), DotPlot - home-based breast cancer checks, Endomag - magnetic seed placed into patient lymph nodes known to contain cancer.

I’m a wonderer for sure, I travelled Asia for 3 months visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Loas and Indonesia. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the different cultures and sampling many, many pad Thai dishes. I also LOVE Italy; it’s impossible for me to pick just one!
